Gheorge Dorin Tuca - 1st Violin

Amy Fields - 2nd Violin & Quartet Manager

Amy Fields was a pupil at St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh before gaining a place with scholarship at the RNCM. She graduated with BMUS (hons) and Masters Solo Performance with distinction at the RNCM. She has performed with many chamber groups and orchestras in the UK including the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and Scottish Opera. She also performs as a solo classical and electric violinist and is one of the few violinists in the UK to play Bollywood music for Asian weddings and events. Click here for more details.

Laurie Dempsey - Viola

Laurie Dempsey was born in Chester where he started instrumental lessons at the age of 8. At the age of 16 he was awarded a place at Chetham's School of Music. He later gained a scholarship to study viola at the RNCM, with the renowned Professor of Viola, Mark Knight. He has played with many orchestras and ensembles in the North West, as both a leader and section player and recently travelled to Montepulciano, Italy to perform in the Cantiere Internatzionale D'arte Festival. He also spends time teaching and recording throughout the North West. 

Andy Crick- Cello

Andrew Crick graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester in 2012. As a keen chamber musician, Andrew is a member of several string quartets and trios and has played in festivals all over the UK and Europe. He has played in string groups for weddings and other similar functions throughout the UK. Andrew is experienced in playing all styles of music and this is effectively demonstrated in the Manchester-based session orchestra, the Kaleidoscope Orchestra where he is principal cello. This orchestra's repertoire ranges from baroque to Electro Dance/Dubstep.
